In 1995, our doors were first opened by a Swedish woman who fell in love with Thailand — its warm people, rich culture, and beautiful flavors. Inspired by her passion for both countries, she dreamed of creating a place where Swedish traditions could meet the vibrant spirit of Thai cuisine.

What started as a small, heartfelt idea soon became a cozy gathering place for travelers and locals alike. A place where guests could feel at home, enjoy honest food made with care, and experience a unique blend of Scandinavian simplicity and Thai warmth.

Over the years, Sofia’s Café and Restaurant has grown, but the heart behind it has never changed.

Thirty years later, the owners, Som and Nikom, continue this journey with the same happiness, dedication, and love for hospitality. With deep gratitude to all our loyal customers and dear friends, we are proud to keep serving dishes that bring people together.
